Amber Heard In Negotiations To Play Mera In ‘Justice League’ And ‘Aquaman’

Aquaman may be about to get his Queen of Atlantis – Variety revealed today that actress Amber Heard (The Danish Girl, Magic Mike XXL) is currently in negotiations to portray the role of Mera in the Aquaman movie coming out in 2018.

Should she be cast, Heard would make her debut in Justice League Part 1, as originally revealed by Heroic Hollywood’s own Umberto Gonzalez back in November, before she then joins Jason Momoa in Aquaman which will be directed by James Wan.

The script for Aquaman is being dealt by David Leslie Johnson and Zack Snyder will be producing this film along with the Justice League films which he is also directing.

With filming coming up for Justice League Part 1, Heard may be getting ready to suit up as the queen of Atlantis should she sign on.

Justice League: Part 1 comes out in theaters on November 17, 2017 with Aquaman coming out on July 27, 2018.
