AMC Officially Renews ‘Preacher’ For Season 3 For 2018

preacher dc vertigo amcEarlier today it was announced by Preacher executive producer Seth Rogen that the hit series based off of the critically acclaimed DC Comics/Vertigo comic book has been picked up for a third season from AMC and will return in 2018.

After narrowingly escaping an immortal cowboy from hell, finding themselves at odds with a powerful, super-secret religious organization and meeting the descendants of Jesus Christ, it looks like the further adventures of Jesse Custer (Dominic West) and his friends Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) will continue on.

Rogen broke the news earlier today from his Twitter account of the show’s renewal. You can check out the post below.

There are no further details in regards to what’s next for Jesse and his friends in season three but given the original comic book’s initial seventy-five issue run, it is safe to guess that there will definitely be absolutely no shortage of outrageous storylines and colorful characters that have yet to appear on the AMC show.

In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news and updates on the third season of AMC’s Preacher as we learn it.
