Andy Serkis Revealed What Was On Klaue’s Mixtape In ‘Black Panther’

Black Panther Everett Ross and Ulysses KlaueIn a recent interview with GamesRadar, Black Panther actor Andy Serkis revealed what was on Klaue’s mixtape.

While speaking with GamesRadar the question came up as to just what was on the character’s mixtape. They, of course, were referring to a  gag in Black Panther when during a confrontation with Martin Freeman’s Everett K. Ross, Ross commented that that Klaue and his gang looked like a band that was about to drop a mixtape. Klaue’s response was to eagerly offer a Ross a SoundCloud link to his actual mixtape.

But the question that has been on fans minds has been what actually was on that mixtape? Well, Serkis seemed to have an answer:

“Everything from Mozart to jazz, actually. And Pink Floyd.”

Freeman then offered his own speculation, referencing Klaue’s South African heritage:

“A little bit of Boer folk music.”

For some reason, this does not seem surprising at all. But sadly, Ross declined access to the link.

Here is the synopsis for the film:

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke,  Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Andy Serkis and John Kani.
