Another Look At The Suicide Squad In New Poster

We’ve already seen a bunch of toys for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad from the ongoing Toy Fair in New York, but the folks over at The Daily Superhero have spotted a brand new poster for the movie, featuring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Will Smith’s Deadshot, Jai Courtney Captain Boomerang, Jay Hernandez’s El Diablo, Adam Beach’s Slipknot, Karen Fukuhara’s Katana and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc. Oh, and there’s Deadpool right at the bottom of the poster, too.

Surprisingly enough, there’s no sign of Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flagg in this one. The Joker and the Enchantress are also both noticeably absent, but the former isn’t really a core member of the team. It’s also cool to see that Smith is wearing Deadshot’s iconic mask in promotional material for the movie, eh? Anyhow, you can check out the poster below and sound-off your thoughts in the comment section.

“It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?”

Suicide Squad opens in theaters on August 5, 2016.
