Well, well, well, this is the way to kick off the first day of fall! Or is it tomorrow? At any rate, new on-set photos from Mail Online have been published from one of 2018’s most anticipated films, Ant-Man and The Wasp. The pics show Hope Van Dyne, played by 38-year-old Evangeline Lily, in her full-on tight black-leather Wasp costume, along with her helmet and if you look closely enough, translucent wings!
The pics taken Wednesday, show the very fit Lily chatting with crew members while walking to the set of the film, which has been shooting at Pinewood Atlanta Studios since August 2017. Looking at the new images, you’ll see that the outfit is similar to the one Paul Rudd wore in 2015’s Ant-Man – body armor along with electronic wrist bands. The metal helmet reveals antennae reminiscent of the one Rudd’s Scott Lang wears as well.

Not much is known at this point about the plot which is again being directed by Peyton Reed (from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, and Rudd) although it is assumed it will somehow revolve around the search for Hope’s mother, Janet Van Dyne, the original Wasp and wife of Hank Pym played by Michael Douglas.
Filming will continue at Pinewood and around Atlanta, then moving to San Francisco until November 2017.
Can’t wait to see how Lily kicks butt in this after watching her do it to Orcs in The Hobbit, which turns 80 today.
Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michael Peña as Luis, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Judy Greer as Maggie, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released in theatres on July 6, 2018. Stay tuned for the latest news on Ant-Man and the Wasp as we learn it.

5 Reasons We’re Excited For ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is out on home media and Spider-Man: Homecoming has been playing in theaters for a while now, so it’s time to look forward to the next Marvel movies, the first being Thor: Ragnarok.
The trailer for the film is incredible. The vibe, the action, the set-design, the soundtrack, every element of the trailer screams, “This is a different kind of Thor movie.”
And that’s exactly what we need. Thor: The Dark World was the most easily forgettable Marvel sequel, only distinguishable from the original for its use of fan-favorite villain Loki. Thor: Ragnarok looks poised to switch up the formula, seeming more like a fun intergalactic romp than a brooding space epic.
Judging from the trailer and other positive buzz, there’s plenty of cause to be excited for Thor: Ragnarok. Here are the 5 reasons why. Click next to get started!
