Check Out This Awesome Exclusive ‘Aquaman’ Art For Comic Con Honolulu

Jason Momoa Aquaman Justice LeagueAquaman is going to be the DC Extended Universe’s only film of 2018 so fans of the continuity are looking to the film with much scrutiny. In lieu of its almost year-end December 21 release there have been snippets released to satiate fans’ appetites in the meantime.

One such Aquaman-related piece of content is a drawing of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman released as an exclusive for Comic Con Honolulu. The image shows Arthur Curry in his more rugged and “Zack Snyder-verse” color palette and is contrasted by Momoa portrayed in the classic Aquaman orange. Check it out below.

Regardless of how the character looks in the movie, Aquaman has a lot of weight on its shoulders to keep the DC Extended Universe afloat amid its many swing and misses. Plot details for Aquaman are currently under wraps. The film centers on Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry and will dive much deeper into the character’s past as it explores the discovery of his powers and his reluctance to accept his role as King.

Directed by James Wan and written by Will Beall, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

Aquaman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on December 21, 2018.
