‘Aquaman’ Trailer Officially Rated Ahead Of San Diego Comic-Con Debut

Aquaman James Wan DC Justice LeagueThe trailer for the upcoming Aquaman solo movie, set to premiere at DC’s Comic-Con panel tomorrow, has offically been rated, revealing its running time.

The Aquaman trailer has been eagerly anticipated since DC premiered the first underwater footage at last year’s Comic-Con panel. Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman went on to become a fan-favorite character from 2017’s Justice League, which only made fans hungrier for the underwater hero’s solo film, directed by James Wan. It doesn’t help that the 13-month wait between Justice League and Aquaman is the largest time gap between DC Extended Universe releases since the 3-year gap between Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Don’t worry DC fans, the Aquaman trailer is closer than ever and now the trailer has recieved its rating. Take a look at the tweet below, which reveals that this isn’t going to be just a little teaser trailer.

Wan has been adamant that the reason that Aquaman footage has remained hidden from the public eye for so long is due to the extravagent special effects and that fans would understand after seeing the footage. If the time stamp on the trailer, as well as the excitement over the film’s recently released images and poster, is any indicication, then tomorrow’s trailer will be well worth the wait.

Aquaman is currently slated to hit theaters on December 21, 2018, in the US.
