‘Aquaman’: James Wan Shares Photo To Celebrate Wrap

Justice League Aquaman Jason MomoaYesterday, we got to see Jason Momoa share the news on Instagram that Aquaman had wrapped. Today, the director of the film, James Wan, took to Twitter to celebrate the end of principal photography with a photo from the set.

Along with some bad puns, fans will note the clapper in James Wan’s hands has “Ahab” written on it, which as you may recall is the film’s working title.

Of course, while Aquaman itself will not be released for another year, fans can get a look at him first in next month’s Justice League film. Out on November 17th, we will see Aquaman play a large role in the super team as they attempt to come together and save the world.

Directed by James Wan and written by Will Beall, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

Aquaman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on Dec. 21, 2018.
