New ‘Aquaman’ Set Photo Gives Us Closer Look At Armored Enemy

James Wan Aquaman Jason Momoa

Filming of Aquaman is currently underway in Australia. A new set photo has surfaced revealing a closer look at the armor of one of the troops (though which one is still unclear). Most recently, we also got a closer look at the home, Amnesty Bay, that will be used for Aquaman and is also well-known to be Arthur Curry’s place of residence on land.

You can check out the set photo below.

The suit in the photo is very clearly red and there looks to be a power pack on the back of the suit, perhaps meant for flying and whatnot. A weapon is being held in the armored man’s right arm and the entire face is covered. What do you think of this armor? Are you excited to see Aquaman fight them? Let us know in the comments below!

Directed by James Wan and written by Will Beall, the film stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

Aquaman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on Dec. 21, 2018.

10 Characters That Should Join DC’s ‘Titans’ TV Show

Titans
Now that news has broke the long rumored Titans show will debut on a new DC subscription service, it’s time to for everyone to get up to speed on the Teen Titans.

We already know that Dick Grayson, Starfire and Raven will be on the show, but there are a lot of other members who deserve a chance to shine. While the show’s synopsis makes it sound like it may follow New Teen Titans by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, but the Titans can easily bring other heroes into the mix with some clever writing. There are a lot of great heroes who have called themselves Titans over the years, so I hope the show eventually builds to the point of being able to sustain a rotating roster chop full of classic heroes.

Geoff Johns, whose run on Teen Titans is one of my favorite comics of all time, co-wrote the pilot for the project with Akiva Goldsman so I’m hopeful the show will be emotionally rich as well as action packed. The Titans are a great group of characters and I’m ecstatic they are getting a chance at life outside of the kid-friendly, Teen Titans Go!
