Incredible fan art shows DC fans what Armie Hammer looks like in Ben Affleck’s iconic Batman cape and cowl.
Armie Hammer has been a fan-favorite choice to play Batman since Ben Affleck left the role earlier this year. Coincidentally, long before Ben Affleck donned the cape and cowl, Armie Hammer was cast as the Caped Crusader. Sadly, Hammer never got to bring the character to the big screen before the film was cancelled but thanks to an incredible piece of fan art, fans can get a glimpse at what the actor could look like as the iconic DC hero.
The impressive artwork comes from jscomicart via Instagram and puts Armie Hammer in the same Batsuit worn by Ben Affleck in 2017’s Justice League. Check out the exciting image in the post below.
Ben Affleck debuted his Batman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It marked the first time that the Dark Knight was introduced on the big screen in an ensemble superhero movie instead of a solo adventure, like Tim Burton or Christopher Nolan’s Batman films were.
Another interesting coincidence between Armie Hammer and Ben Affleck’s history with the role is that Armie Hammer was also going to debut in an ensemble movie, Justice League Mortal. Directed by George Miller of Mad Max fame, the movie was ready to begin filming in 2007 but infamously shut down before filming could commence.
