‘Arrow’ Recruits ‘The Walking Dead’s Juliana Harkavy

arrow-castingThe fifth season of CW’s Arrow is under way as we are almost through the first half of the new season and we are now already getting news on what’s happening in the second half of Season 5. Variety revealed today that The Walking Dead actress Juliana Harkavy has joined the Green Arrow series as a recurring guest star for a new role that is being introduced in the second half of Season 5.

She will be playing the role of Tina Boland who is described as followed:

“Tina Boland, a detective formerly of Central City. Boland is brash yet tactful, tough, speaks her mind, and is not the easiest person to impress. She also has a problem with vigilantes like Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his new team of recruits: Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), Artemis (Madison McLaughlin), Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and Ragman (Joe Dinicol).”

“Human Target” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DC COMICS’ CHRISTOPHER CHANCE AKA HUMAN TARGET TEAMS UP WITH OLIVER — When Tobias Church (guest star Chad L. Coleman) captures and tortures one of Oliver’s new recruits, Oliver must turn to an old friend, Christopher Chance (guest star Wil Traval) AKA the Human Target, for help. Meanwhile, Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) worlds collide when Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) joins the ACU. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff (#505). Original airdate 11/2/2016.”
