‘Arrow’: Stephen Amell Talks Oliver Queen’s Biggest Regret

Arrow RegretThe character of Oliver Queen a.k.a. Green Arrow, on CW’s Arrow, has lost a lot of great and dear people in his life throughout the last five years since he came back home to Star City to persue his crusade to save his city. Throughout the years, he has lost both his parents, Robert and Moira Queen as well as his best friends Tommy Merlyn and Laurel Lance/Black Canary.

Arrow is getting ready to celebrate 100th episodes of the series and several of those past faces will be back for this big milestone event. At the recent Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in Atlanta, Georgia, Amell was asked by a fan what Oliver’s biggest regret is as he has been on this crusade for five years.

“I think his biggest regret is probably not being able to save his mom. For sure, that’s tough. We actually viewed that episode in Walla Walla. We did a random viewing party, and we set it up — ‘It’ll be really fun! There’s like 200 people there!’ And the episode ends, and everyone stared at me like I had just tricked them into something.”
