‘Arrow’s Stephen Amell To Appear On ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’

As DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs its second episode tonight, big news are coming out for upcoming episodes and today it ties-in with Arrow. EW is reporting that Arrow’s Stephen Amell will be guest starring on the new spin-off, but as an Oliver Queen from 2046!

Not only will we be seeing Connor Hawke (in this version not related to Oliver Queen), we will also see an older Oliver that may or may not have a little nod to his Dark Knight Returns appearance, in addition, he will be sporting (finally) the famous goatee. Marc Guggenheim (show-runner and executive producer) said the following about the sixth episode.

“Every once and a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself. We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.”

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Thursday nights, 8/7c on The CW.
