A new threat looms over The CW’s Arrowverse and it will take the combined effort heroes to thwart as the cast of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow come together in a two-night event, “Crisis on Earth-X”.
The upcoming crossover will include Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) longtime partner and bodyguard John Diggle (David Ramsey) and two of Team Arrow’s newest recruits Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzales).
Comic Book Resources recently spoke with the three cast embers during a visit to the set as they shared their enthusiasm for being apart of such a large event that spans over the four shows. Gonzales discussed the capacity of Team Arrow’s involvement in the crossover:
“I think a lot of us are all involved in the crossover in some capacity. I mean… Crisis X, it’s gonna be pretty eventful. There’s a lot happening in there. I was excited to be a part of it. I’m also excited that I was in it last season. The trajectory of what they’re created… I don’t know how they keep coming up with this stuff and topping it every year. It’s nuts. That’s gonna be pretty fun to see, just as a fan watching. I’m excited.”
For Black Canary, Harkavy expressed her excitement to see her character’s array of powers and abilities to be showcased in the midst of the action with so many characters appearing together on the small screen for the first time ever:
“It was crazy! I mean, it was a whirlwind. The crossover has taught me a lot,” she explained. “It was really exciting and Dinah… you know, there’s so much action, that there’s a lot of sort of jumping around, but — because there’s a lot of action — there’s a lot of room for Dinah to work her magic.”
However, not everybody from Team Arrow will play a pivotal role in the four-part crossover. Ramsey humorously reveals that although Diggle will definitely be in attendance for the wedding of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candice Patton) but hints that he may sit on the sidelines for the upcoming battle:
“Yes, it’s awesome. It was great. It was very nice, and I had a nice vacation during that time. I didn’t do a whole lot. But the wedding was great. And I got to sit in on our episode 8, which is the best part of the crossover, and I’ve said this in another interview but Stephen [Amell] and Melissa [Benoist] particularly shine, they really do a fantastic job. I think you guys will enjoy it, both of them, just what they do.”

10 Heroes We Want To See In ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 3
**This article contains spoilers for the Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 finale.**
The Season 2 Finale for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (check out my review if you haven’t already) certainly left things off on an interesting note. But now’s the time to look to the future. It’s time to look ahead to Season 3.
Legends showrunner Phil Klemmer recently teased new characters appearing in Season 3. That’s what’s great about this type of show is the ability to regularly swap team members in and out. It helps keep the show fresh. As Klemmer puts it, in this show, “the only thing that has to remain is the Waverider.” The DC universe is packed with awesome characters that would be perfect for an appearance in Legends and this show provides the unique opportunity to introduce DC superheroes and villains from any place and any time. Whether it be the past, as was the case with recurring characters like Jonah Hex or the Justice Society of America, or the future, as we saw with Connor Hawke in Season 1, this show can make it work. So, we thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the characters that could possibly appear on Legends of Tomorrow Season 3.
First, though, a couple of disclaimers. Some of these characters are more likely to actually appear on the show than others, but all of them could work with a little creative writing. Some of these people might have appeared in the Arrowverse before, but not on Legends of Tomorrow (for the most part). Some might make more sense in a one-off appearance while some could work as potential new season-long team members. Finally, I didn’t include any of the characters that are already appearing in the DCEU films.
So, without further adieu, here are the 10 heroes we want to see in Legends of Tomorrow Season 3. Hit the next button below to begin!
