The upcoming Avengers 4 has released a casting call for a funeral scene. Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel will see the expansive team fighting Thanos, who the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards as the big bad.
With the inclusion of Thanos, the stakes are at an all-time high which means that some characters are more than likely expected to die, which means a funeral scene would not be out of the question. Seeing as this scene is specifically for Avengers 4, it could be the funeral for someone who died in Infinity War.
With Avengers 4 filming in Atlanta, Georgia, a casting call was released through Central Casting Georgia, which reads as follows:
Mourners: Looking for men and women over the age of 18, all ethnicities, to portray mourners. Especially looking for good character looks and expressive faces. This will be photo selected by the film’s directors! Size restrictions: Men no larger than 44 coat, women dress size 0-8. FOR NEW FACES ONLY! You cannot have worked on this project previously, or be booked on upcoming days. NO EXCEPTIONS!
The casting call doesn’t explicitly say they’re shooting a funeral scene, but it’s hard to imagine another sort of scene that requires mourners on hand.

5 Reasons We’re Excited For ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is out on home media and Spider-Man: Homecoming has been playing in theaters for a while now, so it’s time to look forward to the next Marvel movies, the first being Thor: Ragnarok.
The trailer for the film is incredible. The vibe, the action, the set-design, the soundtrack, every element of the trailer screams, “This is a different kind of Thor movie.”
And that’s exactly what we need. Thor: The Dark World was the most easily forgettable Marvel sequel, only distinguishable from the original for its use of fan-favorite villain Loki. Thor: Ragnarok looks poised to switch up the formula, seeming more like a fun intergalactic romp than a brooding space epic.
Judging from the trailer and other positive buzz, there’s plenty of cause to be excited for Thor: Ragnarok. Here are the 5 reasons why. Click next to get started!
