Robert Downey Jr. Hasn’t Read The Full Script For ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Avengers Avengers: Infinity War is set to release next week and there is still so much about the film that we don’t know. Sure the basics are clear: the Avengers have to fight Thanos to protect the Earth from destruction. However, the finer points of the plot are still a mystery. It seems like we’re not alone in this struggle, however. During the Avengers: Infinity War Red Carpet Fan Event, Robert Downey Jr. revealed that even he hasn’t read the full script.

At the press event in Singapore, Downey, who plays Iron Man, asked co-director Joe Russo a burning question:

“Joe, when are you gonna show us the script?…We’ve been shooting scenes blind. We don’t know what they might mean.”

There you have it. Not even the man who started it all knows all the secrets that Infinity War has to offer. If none of the Avengers have been able to get their hands on it, it’s very likely that the directors are the only ones who know exactly how the film will play out.

What do you think will happen in Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know down in the comments. Here is the synopsis for the film

Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner and Paul Rudd.
