Anthony and Joe Russo, who are directing Avengers: Infinity War, has been teasing fans in the last few weeks by sharing cryptic images from the set of the third Avengers installment. Today the directing duo released another cryptic image, but this time with a very special guest.
The Russo brothers shared a photo today with Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson at a very familiar place. It’s none other than Stephen Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum which made its debut in Derrickson’s film.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Doctor Strange director is there in a consulting capacity or just visiting the Avengers: Infinity War directors. Production on the film is expected to wrap up sometime this month or in July.

10 Things We Would Like To See In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is almost upon us, but we’re already talking about what’s next for our favorite ragtag group of cosmic heroes. It’s already been announced that writer/director James Gunn will return for a third outing in the Marvel franchise, with the upcoming sequel getting positive buzz on social media based from early screenings. Of course, the Guardians are also due to return for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War films as well, teaming up with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Thanos as he gathers the Infinity Stones together to wield ultimate power.
Gunn commented on Facebook that the third film will “conclude the story of this iteration of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and help catapult both old and new Marvel characters into the next ten years and beyond.” While Phase 4 hasn’t been officially announced, it’s assumed that this third film will be Marvel Studios’ kick-off movie for their next batch of films, most likely eyeing a May 2020 release.
