Avengers: Infinity War has already wrapped filming this year, with production getting into gear for the Untitled Avengers project/Avengers 4. Thanks to an official Marvel Cinematic Universe tie-in prelude comic we have gotten an updated logo for Infinity War.
It does seem quite annoying that the only real thing we normal people can get towards seeing anything for the movie is just a logo change, while the trailer remains “coming soon” and not a single promo image from the film has been released. Nonetheless the logo is pretty cool, though looks virtually similar to the old one. Check out the comic page below!
The prelude comic will be on store shelves and online at sites like Comixology a few months before Avengers: Infinity War is in cinemas, but no official release date is confirmed. The comic’s synopsis was revealed by Newsarama recently and is detailed below:
When a terrorist puts the Avengers at odds, CAPTAIN AMERICA and THE WINTER SOLDIER go rogue to find him – but IRON MAN isn’t far behind. Will the Avengers survive the fallout? Then, find out where Captain America, the Falcon and the Black Widow are headed next – because the world needs heroes, whether it wants them or not. And get a sneak peek at Tony Stark’s brand-new armor! Get ready for MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR in part 1 of this special prelude!
The comic sounds pretty intriguing in that it is focusing on characters whose whereabouts are pretty much unknown between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Finding out what happens to Cap, Falcon and Black Widow should be pretty exciting and the comic should be one to look forward to!
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War will star Robert Downey Jr, Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Benecio del Toro, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Paul Rudd, Don Cheadle, Letitia Wright, and Terry Notary, Peter Dinklage, and Hiroyuki Sanada in undisclosed roles.
Avengers: Infinity War is in cinemas May 4, 2018.
5 Marvel Supporting Characters Who Need To Join The ‘Thor’ World
Now that Thor: Ragnarok is behind us, it’s time for fans to start speculating about where the God of Thunder is likely to go next! As things continue to change for Thor moving forward, it’s only fitting that the world around him starts to expand. Ragnarok is introducing newcomers Hela and Skurge to the Marvel Cinematic Universe family, but there’s always room for more expansion.
Thor has a rich group of supporting characters that have either gone on adventures with him or faced him on the battlefield. Some of Thor’s main companions, like Lady Sif and the Warriors Three, have already been introduced and become fan-favorite characters for MCU viewers. Given that Marvel Studios seems to like shaking things up, it seems likely that some of Thor’s lesser-known acquaintances will end up on the big screen soon enough.
