‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Star Sebastian Stan Wants A Bucky/Falcon Movie

Avengers Infinity War Sebastian Stan Anthony Mackie

Bucky and Falcon weren’t exactly on the best of terms when they first faced off in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. By the time Captain America: Civil War came around, the pair reluctantly found themselves fighting on the same side. With both characters set to return in Avengers: Infinity War, Sebastian Stan believes that there’s potential to explore the odd dynamic between Cap’s two best friends even further in their own spin-off film.

Sebastian Stan sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss all things Avengers: Infinity War. When asked to share how he views the Bucky/Falcon relationship, here’s what Stan had to say:

“To me it’s like Martin Brest’s film classic Midnight Run. You know, it really is just sort of like 48 Hrs. or a buddy cop comedy from the ’80s or ’90s. That’s how I see it.”

As a follow-up to that answer, he was asked whether a spin-off featuring the two characters is a possibility, to which he answered:

“Absolutely. The right people to make that happen are certainly within feet of us right now.”
