Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 has been touted as the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe story to date and actor Sebastian Stan recently commented on the grand scale of both films. During an interview with MTV at the Toronto International Film Festival, Stan discussed the ambitious projects and compared himself to Game of Thrones hero Jon Snow.
Stan offered fans a preview of what they can expect from the highly anticipated film:
“It certainly is the biggest culmination of anything and everything they’ve done so far. It’s just going to be bigger and crazier than anything.”
Stan compared himself to Kit Harington’s Jon Snow while discussing his experience working on the next two Avengers films:
“I feel a lot like that Jon Snow character [in] ‘Battle of the Bastards.’ When there’s that shot of Jon Snow, from the back as horses are charging at him and he’s just standing there, that’s kind of how I feel on set at times. Will I make this stampede or not?”
When asked about the rumors that Bucky will assume the title of Captain America should Chris Evans retire from the role, Stan replied, “it’s just speculation.”
The comparisons to Jon Snow may not be unwarranted as The D23 and Comic-Con preview for Avengers: Infinity War featured Bucky standing side-by-side with Black Panther and his army, seemingly preparing to take on an unseen threat. A sight not unlike the aforementioned Game of Thrones moment described by Stan.
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in theaters on May 4, 2018.

It wasn’t a trailer per se — more so just a compilation of random moments designed to excite the audience.
