Jeremy Renner’s Ex-Wife Claims The ‘Avengers’ Star Bit Their Daughter

Sonni Pacheco claims that Avengers star Jeremy Renner bit their 6-year-old daughter back in 2017.

According to court documents that were filed publicly in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles, which were obtained by the Post, Jeremy Renner’s ex-wife Sonni Pacheco claims she spotted a bruise on their now-six-year-old daughter Ava in April 2017. According to the papers, the child informed Sonni Pacheco that the mark was caused by Jeremy Renner, allegedly saying, “Daddy bit me.”

The filing alleges, “later, [Ava] explained that the bite happened when [Renner] was being mean and yelling.” In e-mails included with the filing, Jeremy Renner denied being responsible for the bruise and said the mark was caused by Ava being “pinched” by her seat belt.

The papers say Pacheco challenged Jeremy Renner’s explanation, writing, “when … putting some ointment on her owie, Ava told me you bit her there.” In response, the Avengers star allegedly replied, “Ha. No. We do a nibble game called Ava burrito. Haha. But not a bite. Tell her she’s spicy. And the game ensues. Haha. Nibble game are fake nibbles.”

On Tuesday, Jeremy Renner’s representative said the claims made by the Avengers star’s ex-wife are “categorically not true and another straight-out character assassination made by Ms. Pacheco and her attorney.” In an e-mailed statement to the post, Jeremy Renner’s representative added that after Pacheco claims the incident occurred, she still “never sought a restraining order or never withheld Mr. Renner’s 50% custody time.”

Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco have been going through a custody battle, with the latter claiming the Avengers star threatened to kill her and himself while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine. These allegations have been denied by Jeremy Renner.

As of now, Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton is set to return in a Hawkeye series for the Disney Plus streaming service. Most recently, Jeremy Renner portrayed the archer in the Marvel Studios epic Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.
