The Transformers franchise has been one of the most unique in Hollywood. Beginning in 2007, the franchise has grown and grown. The last two films in the series have both grossed over $1 billion worldwide. For all the franchise’s flaws, you cannot deny the sheer scope and reign the Transformers have over cinemagoers. The next film – The Last Knight – will feature the return of many familiar faces, including: Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro. Director Michael Bay will also helm the upcoming film, and – despite saying this numerous times before – this movie will be his last.*
The Last Knight will feature a wide-range of new Transformers characters including Hot Rod and the rumoured Unicron. Fan-favourites such as Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and Megatron are all-set to return in the new film!

What do you guys think? Are you excited for the next adventure in the Transformers franchise? Bay recently revealed that the series has “fourteen” films in various stages of development; if you do not like this franchise now, it is not going away anytime soon.
The Last Knight is set to hit theatres everywhere on June 23rd, 2017.
* Michael Bay has no interest on ever leaving this franchise.
