Ben Affleck Batman Justice League DC Birds of PreyZack Snyder recently shared a new photo of Batman on social media from a scene that was presumably deleted from the theatrical release of  Justice League, though it wasn’t specified in the post.

Ben Affleck’s future as Batman may be unclear but Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder has no shortage of awesome, unseen images of Affleck as the caped crusader to share to fans. Snyder is known for his presence on the social media platform Vero, where he answers fan questions and reveals unseen images from his DC films, including his original cut of Justice League.

Snyder recently shared a new look at the dark knight in a very fitting place, on a rooftop at night. Snyder didn’t accompany the photo with a short caption or explanation or anything, but there’s a reason people say that a picture is worth a thousand words. If you’re a fan of Snyder’s visual style then this photo is for you. Check out the awesome photo via Reddit below.

Though Affleck’s future in the franchise, him dealing with his personal issues is obviously much more important at the moment. Plus, if you’re itching to see a Gotham-centric film on the big screen, the next year will be a good one for you. Not only is Birds of Prey gearing up for production, but Matt Reeves’ The Batman is also still on the way, as well as an animated adaptation of Batman: Hush and the Joaquin Phoenix-starring Joker, which hits theaters next October. Titans is also preparing to hit the DC Universe streaming service soon and Ruby Rose is set to play Batwoman in The CW’s Arrowverse.

Suffice it to say, the Bat-Family is getting plenty of representation on the big screen, small screen, in both live-action and animated formats. Very fitting, considering next year will mark the caped crusader’s 80th Birthday. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding DC as more information becomes available.
