See Bill Skarsgard’s Intense Joker Look For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’

The artist chose Bill Skarsgard for the Joker following rumors the villain will appear in Robert Pattinson's 'The Batman' sequel.

Bill Skarsgard transforms into The Joker in an intense new fan edit that imagines the It star as the next Clown Prince of Crime for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe.

With any new series of Batman films, there’s always a question of if and when the Joker will be introduced. One name that constantly pops up to play a new version of the villain is IT star Bill Skarsgard. It’s easy to see why, since he’s already played a villainous clown in the two movies directed by Andy Muschietti, along with an intimidating character in Castle Rock. The Joker is not the only villain fans want to see in the planned Matt Reeves trilogy, with many calling for Dave Bautista to play Bane, but that doesn’t seem likely according to the Avengers actor. This artwork shows off what Skarsgard could look like as The Joker in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

The fan edit was created by a digital artist known as ‘saarukan.psd’ on Instagram and puts Bill Skarsgard in the iconic makeup as the Clown Prince of Crime for The Batman. The artist points out that after the recent rumors the Joker will make an appearance in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman sequel, he’d like to see Skarsgard in a look inspired by both Mark Hamill’s animated version as well as the one that appeared in the Arkham games. It’s hard to deny that the look would be intimidating if it became a reality, especially with Skarsgard’s tall frame. You can check out the concept design below.

Joker (Bill Skarsgård). So there has been rumours that Joker will appear in The Batman sequel, and I think that Bill Skarsgård is the best choice for this universe. This is how I would like him to look like in flashbacks or maybe even when he shows up in the movie. I went for a more Mark Hamill animated series look, and with a touch of Arkhamverse. I think they should consider prosthetics and make his chin and nose longer as well as give him a wig. I would love to see something close to this against Robert Pattinsons Dark Knight. Got a lot of inspiration from @willgray_art for this piece, go check him out! (I also added a more saturated version on the second slide) 🦇 – What do you think, how can I improve? – Please Credit if you want to repost – #joker #billskarsgard #markhamill #thebatman #mattreeves #clownprinceofcrime #batmantheanimatedseries #jokerfanart #joaquinphoenix #jokermovie #cw #likeforlikes #like4likes #followforfollowback #followme #dc #dccomics #dceu #robertpattinson #batmanmovie #redhood #gotham #photoshop #digitalart #costumedesign #characterdesign #fancast #itchapter2 #skarsgård #zoekravitz

Would you like to see IT star Bill Skarsgard as the Joker opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman? Who else would be good in the role? Let us know in the comments!

Plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps, but we know that the project will revolve around Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment to a new trilogy starring Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently set to hit theaters on October 1, 2021. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news regarding Bill Skarsgard, Robert Pattinson and The Batman universe, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content.
