Black Panther has not only become a commercial and critical success, but it has also become a cultural phenomenon. Everyone can’t stop talking about the movie, including Nerdist who released a hilarious tribute to the film’s main hero, King T’Challa.
Earlier this week, Nerdist released a parody of Jaden Smith’s Icon music video and song by subbing in Jaden Smith for Black Panther. In the video, titled Young King, T’Challa raps about the country of Wakanda, how he’s going to fight Thanos, and how cool his suit is. You can check the full video out below:

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Andy Serkis and John Kan.
Black Panther is currently playing in theatres.
Top Ten Greatest Moments In Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’
Marvel’s Black Panther is finally in theaters and if you haven’t had the opportunity to check this film out yet, you absolutely should. Whether you’re a hardcore MCU fanboy, a die-hard fan of the character in comics, an admirer of one of the dozen or so amazing performers featured in this incredible cast, or just someone who wants to relish in the chance to finally see an African American superhero headline his own film on a scale such as this, you should get everything you’re looking for and more in Black Panther.
