Chadwick Boseman Shares ‘Black Panther’ Rolling Stone Cover

Black Panther Rolling Stone Chadwick BosemanEarlier today, Black Panther star and man of the hour, Chadwick Boseman, shared the cover for the latest edition of Rolling Stone on Twitter. The cover features a shirtless Boseman wearing only a very stylish coat, and his necklace from Black Panther that holds his nano-suit. The cover was accompanied by the fist emoji and a very appropriate “#blackpanther.” Check out the tweet below:

Boseman’s colleagues in the film industry have been quick to congratulate him on the phenomenal cover, including Ava DuVernay (the director who passed on directing Black Panther), and Hollywood funnyman Josh Gad. Others on Twitter can’t get over Boseman’s physical attractiveness, with many posting gifs of jaw drops, and people fanning themselves.

Boseman is deserving of being featured on the cover of Rolling Stone. Even if Black Panther hadn’t had one of the strongest opening weekends for a superhero movie ever, it is an important film that is just as deserving of being featured and discussed in this prestigious publication. The financial, critical, and audience success is really the icing on the cake for everyone involved.

Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler, and stars  Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Andy Serkis and John Kani.

Black Panther is currently in theaters.

Whether you’re a hardcore MCU fanboy, a die-hard fan of the character in comics, an admirer of one of the dozen or so amazing performers featured in this incredible cast, or just someone who wants to relish in the chance to finally see an African American superhero headline his own film on a scale such as this, you should get everything you’re looking for and more in Black Panther.

The importance of what director Ryan Coogler and company did with this film cannot be overstated. Black Panther is a massive achievement for representation in the same way that Wonder Woman was last year, and most importantly, the film totally delivered, so much so that we have a whole list’s worth of exciting and cool moments to talk about.
