Black Siren Storms The Star City Police Station In ‘Arrow’ Premiere Clip

ArrowAhead of tonight’s sixth season premiere of Arrow, Variety has premiered an exclusive clip from the episode.

Tonight’s premiere will pick up in the aftermath of Prometheus’ destruction of Lian Yu. The first half of the season will also feature Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) heavily, including a two-part episode that will include flashbacks to help explain what’s happened to Slade between the death of Shado and making amends with Oliver at the end of the fifth season.

In the clip, Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) and a crew of criminals storm the Star City police station to break out a crook named Alex, killing all of the officers present at the station before Alex sets up a bomb and Black Siren detonates it.

The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen (Green Arrow), Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance (Black Siren), David Ramsey as John Diggle (Spartan), Willa Holland as Thea Queen (Speedy), Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak (Overwatch), Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt (Mr. Terrific), Rick Gonzalez as Rene Ramirez (Wild Dog), Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake (Black Canary), and Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance. Here’s the official synopsis for tonight’s premiere entitled “The Aftermath”:

THE AFTERMATH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) deals with the fallout of the explosion on the island. James Bamford directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle (#601).

Arrow Season 6 premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Comic Book TVThe current TV season is pretty much done as several comic book and superhero TV shows have concluded their respective seasons. While the comic book TV landscape is already epic in scope, it’s only going to get bigger next year. The 2017-2018 television season is going to be one of the biggest seasons of all time for comic book adaptations for both DC and Marvel.
