During the Krypton panel at this years SDCC it was confirmed that villain Brainiac would be returning for the show’s second season.
During the panel, Krypton showrunner Cam Welsh was asked by an audience member if we would be seeing more of Brainiac in the up coming season:
Will we see more of Brainiac?
Welsh’s response didn’t outright say that the super villain would be involved but he may as well have:
We’re going to Colu in Season 2.
The question and answer was posted on Krypton‘s official twitter account. You can see the full tweet below:
Q: Will we see more of #Brainiac?

The idea that Brainiac would be involved in this season makes sense. Colu is often cited as the home planet of Brainiac as well as the Legion of Superheros character Brainiac 5. In addition the character is often cited as one of the main causes behind Krypton’s destruction so it only makes sense that the character would play a larger role as the series goes on.
What do you all make of this trip to Colu? Do you want to see more of Brainiac or should the people behind Krypton leave the character alone? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
Here is the synopsis for Krypton:
KRYPTON is set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet. The series follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, as a young man who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed to restore the fate of his future grandson. In Season 1, with Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg found himself in a difficult position: redeem his family’s honor and protect the ones he loves, while being challenged by familiar DC characters Brainiac and Earthly time-traveler Adam Strange.
Krypton season 2 is expected to premiere in 2019.

Now that the Teen Titans are getting their own TV show, various members of the team are being talked about and considered for the silver screen. While some characters may be more suited to television than others, there’s no denying the fact that some Teen Titans are just more powerful than their teammates.
