Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz wants to play She-Hulk in the upcoming Marvel Studios series on Disney Plus.

While there’s been a few actresses suggested by fans for the highly-anticipated She-Hulk solo series on Disney Plus, one actress that would fit Jennifer Walters perfectly is Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz. The actress recently discussed how much she appreciated that fans would like to see her in the She-Hulk series on the Disney Plus streaming service. She-Hulk was one of the new Marvel Studios series announced at the D23 Expo alongside Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel.

In a new interview with ET, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz talked about how much she’d love to play She-Hulk in the Disney Plus series. Stephanie Beatriz also joked that she’s been upping her workout regime just in case she gets the She-Hulk call from Marvel Studios. “I would die to play that role. That is so flattering. That is one of the best characters in that universe. I definitely have upped my workouts since reading some of those things. But also, [I think it would] be really exciting for fans to see some of these characters that we kind of decided are one thing, to sort of be imagined in a different way.”

In addition to She-Hulk, Marvel Studios is also developing a slew of other projects for Disney Plus. WandaVision is reportedly aiming to begin production in late September and will star Elizabeth Olsen alongside Paul Bettany. The Disney Plus series is said to focus on Scarlet Witch after the events of Avengers: Endgame and will lead into the feature Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Meanwhile, Loki is reportedly planning to start filming in early 2020 with Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as the God of Mischief. However, Loki’s series will follow the version of the character who used the Space Stone to escape capture when the Avengers traveled back in time in Endgame.

Additional Marvel Studios series being developed for Disney Plus include The Falcon and the Winter SoldierHawkeye, and an animated What If? show.
