Captain Boomerang Uses A Signature Weapon In ‘Suicide Squad’

Suicide Squad left a lasting impression on fans when it debuted this summer in theaters, now with the movie and an extended cut being released for purchase on digital, fans breaking down the film more closely. A Reddit user noticed that within the case file for Captain Boomerang that Amanda Waller had in her possession detailed an important weapon.

The file confirmed that Captain Boomerang used his “rocket boomerang” on the Flash.  The boomerang is best known for being one of the character’s greatest invention. The weapon is a boomerang equipped with rocket launching powers.

This detail and more can be seen in the new extended cut of Suicide Squad. It has now been revealed that Suicide Squad‘s extended run time will be 134 minutes, compared to the theatrical release which clocks in at 123 minutes. This leaves 11 minutes of extra footage.

Suicide Squad: The Extended Cut will be released via HD Digital Download on November 28, and on Blu-ray on December 5.
