Check Out The Best Look Yet At Captain Marvel’s Costume

Brie Larson Captain MarvelIf you wanted a good look at Captain Marvel’s movie costume, you’re in luck. The concept art that debuted at the 2017 San Diego Comic Con was met with rapturous acclaim by attendees who got a good, high-res look at the image. Those not in attendance got a blurry look at the image, captured through fan photographs and tweets.

Andy Park – the concept artist who painted the image – tweeted out a low-res version for the image. His reason for the low-res image was that Marvel hasn’t given him the go-ahead to release the official, high-res version. Regardless, the image shows the character and her costume off with grace. You can check out the image and Park’s caption below:

During the Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Captain Marvel will take place in the 1990s and that the film will feature the Skrulls, a race of shape-shifting aliens which are fairly well-known in the Marvel comic book world.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel will star Brie Larson as the titular character, while Samuel L. Jackson is also set to reprise his role as Nick Fury.

Captain Marvel is set to hit theatres on March 8, 2019.

The 7 Coolest Superhero Bases In Comics

Previous1 of 8

basesDespite their powers, costumes and allies, superheroes are nothing without their extravagant bases. Everyone from Batman to the Fantastic Four has a place to plan all their actions and relax after a mission. Some of the bases may have similar features, but each hero allows their unique personalities to be seen through their base.

Some are more secure and some hold more trophies than others, but at the end of the day they all do their job. It’s not on the list (clearly) but even Peter Parker’s apartment with Aunt May works as a base. Anywhere a hero can store their items and feel safe qualifies as a superhero base, but that doesn’t mean they’re all equal. Just like the Arrowcar can never compete with the Batmobile, some bases just don’t measure up.

So hit Next to learn more about the seven coolest superhero bases in comics!
