While promoting his new film, Marshall – about the early career of legendary Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall – on Jimmy Kimmel last night, the always affable Chadwick Boseman had to switch gears when Kimmel, a self-professed comic book fan, switched topics to Boseman’s upcoming Marvel solo film, Black Panther, which is due in February.
Kimmel asked Boseman if he thought it was disappointing that Black Panther didn’t really have a secret identity. The actor had this to say:
“There’s a certain fear factor that the mask creates. And there’s still sort of like a legend around the character that has been created. There’s an aspect of it, that’s like is this Black Panther thing real? So you don’t need that secret identity because there’s still the mystery of The Panther’s prowess.”
You can watch more of Boseman’s answer and share a few more laughs in the video clip below:
Black Panther, the Marvel Studios live-action film, is due in cinemas February, 16, 2018. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for any updates regarding this highly-anticipated film.
5 Thor Stories That Should Be Used For Future Marvel Movies
After those amazing Thor: Ragnarok trailers, everyone’s talking about Odinson. This looks like a fun movie, and it makes me excited for where they might take Thor in the future. After Avengers: Infinity War, Thor is fair game for Marvel Studios (and hopefully Taika Waititi again) to do whatever they want with him.
There are some amazing Thor stories in the Marvel catalog for them to take inspiration from. I think that’s pretty key at this point, for them to just take inspiration from these stories and not follow the plot 100 percent. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is just too different compared to the Marvel Comics line, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some amazing stories the movies could emulate.
So here are five Thor stories that should be used for future movies. Hit Next to find out more!
