Check Out A New Look At Spidey’s Homemade Costume From ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

Spider-Man

The latest reboot in the Spider-Man franchise is set to swing into theatres this July; however, the major difference this time around is Spidey’s setting. No longer alone, this interpretation of the wall-crawler exists within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and debuted in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. The new film will feature some iconic villains like The Vulture (Michael Keaton), The Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) and The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus). As we have seen from Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s trailers, the young hero will don more than one costume. The redesigned suit which appeared in Civil War will take centre-stage, while Spidey will also slip into his old, homemade costume.

Thanks to a new promo from Marvel Collector Corps, we have a brand new look at the homemade suit Spidey will don in the new movie. The suit appeared in a brief sequence in Civil War, but will feature in the new movie. You can check out the image below:

Check Out A New Look At Spider-Man's Homemade Costume

Pretty cool, huh? The homemade suit takes some major inspiration from Ben Reilly’s Spider-Man suit – with the red and blue, reversed. This costume is rumoured to appear in the movie’s final battle which – assumedly – will feature the wall-crawler taking on The Vulture in a bitter-battle. How do you guys feel about this new costume? Are you keen to see the suit in action?

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.

      • Jacob McMillan

I mean the costume that looks like it’s from a good cg trailer for a game because he certainly doesn’t look like he belongs in the real world
