Production is currently underway on the Scott Derrickson directed Doctor Strange and while speaking with Vulture about his latest film, Chiwetel Ejiofor answered a few questions about the highly-anticipated Marvel Studios release. The actor, who will play Bardon Mordo in the Marvel Studios film, commented on the the possibility of returning and appearing in potential Marvel sequels.

Obviously, the idea is that you’ll be part of something that could have more incarnations, but that’s sort of not the focus. The focus is that you just want to make the film that you’re making as good as you can make it. That’s what I’m in engaged with at the moment. It’s a really fascinating project.

When Ejiofor was asked about his role in the film and if he would be playing the antagonist to the titular character, the actor got a little tight lipped and refused to give much away regarding that aspect of the film.

In a strange way, I don’t want to answer that question, if you don’t mind. Because I feel like it’s linked to things I shouldn’t get into. I hope it will be interesting when we bring the film out to see what those characters are like — or what they’re not like. You’re gonna have to wait and see!

Could there be more to the character than we are assuming? Perhaps Mads Mikkelsen’s character that is being kept under wraps might be the film’s true antagonist? Let us know your thoughts on that & Ejiofor’s comments in the section below. Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2016.
