Chris Miller Teases Silk in ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Sequel

Cindy Moon will also star in an all-female 'Spider-Verse' spinoff.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse producer Chris Miller teased Silk’s appearance in the upcoming sequel.

Although we won’t see Miles Morales and the rest of the Spider-heroes return until 2022, Chris Miller teased the arrival of Cindy Moon A.K.A. Silk in the animated sequel. The first film saw the introduction of the multiverse and the concept of multiple versions of Spider-Man spread across alternate dimensions, and it seems like the Korean-American Web-Slinger might make an appearance in the second film.

We already know that Silk, alongside Spider-Woman and Spider-Gwen, will be a part of an all-female spin-off movie at some point in the future, but Chris Miller took to Twitter with a light-hearted tease about Silk regarding masks. Miller’s collaborator Phil Lord asked for suggestions about wearing different types of masks when the producer replied with an image of Silk, who wears a bandana-like mask around the lower half of her face. For those not familiar with Silk, she was bitten by the same radioactive spider as Peter Parker.
