‘Black Panther’: Chris Pratt Praises ‘Thought Provoking’ Film

Black Panther Star-Lord Guardians Of The GalaxyChris Pratt, better known as the guy who plays Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, spoke glowingly of Black Panther — a sentiment that was greatly appreciated by that movie’s star, Chadwick Boseman.

Using the ever-popular platform of Twitter, Pratt offered a shout-out to Boseman, Letitia Wright, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, and the rest of the cast for a job well done on Marvel’s overperforming smash-hit:

Chadwick Boseman, who stars in the film, replied with gratitude to his fellow Avengers: Infinity War star:

It’s always good to know that these two franchise buddies are pals in real life; hopefully, their two characters will share a scene in Avengers: Infinity War this May.

Black Panther is now playing in theaters. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the movie features a cast that includes Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa (Black Panther), Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, John Kani as T’Chaka, Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu, Michael B. Jordan as Erik “Killmonger” Stevens (Golden Jaguar), Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue, and Winston Duke as M’Baku (Man-Ape).

While the status of other founding members like the Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and more up in the air right now, part of the fun in the Avengers comics is the ever-changing roster. The latest roster for the Avengers needs to make a statement. This isn’t the same old Avengers, this is the beginning of a new chapter. Some characters should be upgraded, others will take center stage as the new tentpole franchises, and the Avengers will be new.
