Chris Pratt Weighs In On ‘Captain America’ vs. ‘Star-Lord’

Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is currently focused on promoting his latest film Jurassic World, but inevitably questions that concern the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been posed while he makes the press junket rounds. Comic Book Resources sat down with Star-Lord (who?) and asked who he believes would win in a fight, Captain America or Star-Lord?

Hopefully, you’ll find out one day. Steve Rogers would kick the shit out of Peter Quill in a fair fight, but I don’t think Quill and the Guardians fight fair. I would put my money on Quill. If it was a straight UFC match, Captain America wins 100 out of 100 times. But, when you have Rocket Raccoon, who has your back, and he can take apart an air conditioner and turn it into a nuclear weapon, you have an ace in the hole.

Captain America Chris Evans and Pratt added fuel to the fire when the two actors smack talked each other’s favored team at Super Bowl XLIX on social media and made a bet to see who would win the championship. Evans came out on top having bet on the New England Patriots, forcing Pratt (who rooted for the Seattle Seahawks) to visit wide-eyed kids at Christopher’s Haven in Boston. Evans, good sport and all, tagged along and Pratt and would make good by visiting Pratt’s hospital of choice Seattle Children’s Hospital.

What do you think? Who would win in a fight, Captain America or Star-Lord? Sound off in the comments!
