Christopher Nolan has made his mark on the superhero genre and cinema as a whole with the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Interstellar.
A common theme amongst all of Nolan’s projects is that they are constantly covered in secrecy. Nolan likes to keep a lot of surprises for when fans are sitting in the theater but now new information has been released surrounding his latest project Dunkirk. Dunkirk is set during World War II, revolving around the evacuation of the French city, Dunkirk.
The synopsis is as follows:
“Dunkirk” opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.”
New pictures from the set have also been released online.
