CW Working On MAJOR 4-Way Crossover Event For ‘Arrow,’ ‘Legends,’ ‘Supergirl’ & ‘The Flash’

The CW Supergirl The Flash

Christmas has come early for fans of the DC TV Universe. Now that Supergirl has joined The CW for a second season this fall, it’s very possible that this show will be able to crossover with other CW shows including; The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Mark Pedowitz, president of The CW, has confirmed that in December a 4-way crossover will be taking place between Arrow, The Flash, Legends and Supergirl.

“Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December. [It will be] our biggest one ever.”

This new home for Supergirl seems like a natural fit and fans agree online, supporting the move and the potential for crossovers amongst the shows. Pedowiz is echoing the same sentiments.

“We are sitting down with Greg Berlanti and his team next week or so. We have a rough idea where they’re heading and, because our working relationship with Greg, we’re confident they understand what our needs are. As for the tone or tonality of the series, they did have a pretty successful series. The fact it’s now moved to The CW, where it should have been in the first place, I don’t think it will have a big impact on the tone.”

The show will be moving to Vancouver, Canada as previously reported when discussions had just first started. While not part of the official announcement, it is safe to say that they will somehow be merging Supergirl into The Flash/Arrow/Legends of TomorrowUniverse through something like a Flashpoint or Crisis event. There had been concerns that due to some budget cuts that will be coming that some cast members would be trimmed off the main group, but it appears that everyone is coming back for the second season.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, David Harewood as J’onn J’onzz/Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott.

Maybe they should switch up the guys who run the TV Division with the guys who run the Films.

Either that or the guys who do the Animations and animated movies (They also do a pretty good job with their properties…..and the video game division isn’t too bad either)

The Batman Arkham games have been the only successful ones. I wish the GL game was great and came to PC. So much promise there. I still want an open world Superman game.

Over the years since the new Batman games have been so successful and amazing, I’ve wondered why no developer has stepped up to do another amazing super hero style game. Obviously, Batman is a lot more grounded having no actual abilities other than just being a badass. But come on! Why can’t we get a decent Superman game or someone similar? There was that decent Wolverine Origins video game but it’s nearing a decade old.

An open world(literally) first-person superhero RPG is my DREAM VIRTUAL REALITY GAME. The moment something like that comes out, I won’t unplug from the Matrix.

You could create a hero(or maybe a villain) from scratch and would have to manage a city(or entire planet if the tech allowed it), from saving cats out of trees, saving people from natural disasters, stopping bank robberies/random shootings/terrorist acts, .etc.

You’d have a headquarters where you’d store medals, awards and other symbols of personal accolade given to you by the people you’ve saved. You could have a variety of costumes/gear, .etc, that would be used for specific quests or missions.

That’s pretty ambitious but not too ambitious. There are games such as the MMO DC Universe Online which might be close but you have to create your own character instead of playing one of the greats. There’s Marvel Heroes but it’s a top down MMO RPG as well. I don’t care for multiplayer but it seems the way of the industry right now. Less single player campaign games due to the demand for multiplayer. Unfortunately, I come from a time where single player was just about it besides some split screen or multiplayer platform games like Contra.

I don’t care for multiplayer games, either. Contra is my bag! I have a YouTube playlist of old NES/SNES games that I put on in the background while I work. Memories…

I need to catch up. I haven’t seen any of the shows in months.

Me either, honestly never was really into them. I found out you can watch them on the CW app, I watched the last two Flash episodes and I’m hooked :). Season finale soon I believe.

    Can’t wait!

P.S. Please stop using Hawk Girl as the representation for LoT. She is the worst character in the show.
