Daniel Dae Kim Begins Stunt Training For ‘Hellboy’ Reboot

Daniel Dae Kim Hellboy Major Ben DaimioGiven recent circumstances regarding the Hollywood epidemic of whitewashing roles for Asian actors and actresses, Ed Skrein of Deadpool fame stepped down from a role from the upcoming Hellboy reboot to leave a statement on the whole whitewashing issue. Thanks to Skrein’s good deed, actor Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0) has been cast in the role.

The casting of Kim as Ben Daimio has been warmly received from fans, and both Skrein and Kim recently met up about the whole ordeal. And now with photos from the upcoming film being released, Kim and much of the film’s cast are already training for some of the film’s stunts.

Kim recently shared a video of him stunt training for what will certainly be an action-packed production:
