Avengers star Dave Bautista transforms into Bane in a cool new fan edit for Robert Pattinson’s Batman trilogy.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman is set to introduce numerous DC Comics villains for Robert Pattinson’s first go-round as the Caped Crusader. The highly-anticipated film will feature Catwoman, The Riddler and Penguin with a few more villains more rumored to make an appearance in the flick. One member of Batman’s rogues gallery that won’t appear in the movie is Bane and fans already know exactly who they want in the role.
Dave Bautista has been a fan-favorite for the role of Bane for quite some time now and now we finally know what Avengers star could look like as the Batman villain. Digital artist Dalton Barrett has created an awesome concept design that imagines Avengers star as Bane with CGI muscle to take on Robert Pattinson’s Batman. You can see Bautista as Bane below.
Full plot details on The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. Following the Caped Crusader during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector, The Batman will make use of the hero’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous live-action adaptations. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.
