Action Comics #1000 Review: A Touching Superman Tribute Features Bendis' DC Debut Marvel AT&TWarner Bros. and AT&T-owned DC Comics released a message on their official Twitter account stating where they and Superman stand on World Refugee Day.

With the heartbreaking separation of immigrant families at the southern U.S. border and the arrival of refugees in Europe on the minds of nearly everyone, DC Comics issued a statement reminding fans that Superman is a refugee and urged others to stand up for what is right on World Refugee Day. The message posted on DC Comics’ official Twitter account reads as follows:

“Superman stands up for what’s right. Did you also know he’s a refugee? This #WorldRefugeeDay, be like Superman and stand up for what’s right.”
