Crossover2

Welcome back to the DC TV weekly episode roundup! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This week is a bit light on the superheroes as only Supergirl and The Flash had new episodes air this week. The Cadmus plot thickens on Supergirl and Killer Frost makes a short-lived appearance on The Flash.

In advance of all the crossover episodes happening next week, both shows had plenty going on in terms of plot. As always, there are no spoilers outside of what was shown in each episode.

So, let’s not waste time and get started, shall we?

Ms. Martian was always a white martian masquerading as a green martian though…

I’ve edited the post to reflect this fact. Thanks for the reminder.

Dr. Alchemy unlocking powers is tied to the Flashpoint/alternate reality (see Wally & Adversary) rather than DNA activating powers so the dual personality thing makes sense (It also has precedence with Shade) if you look at it as it being an alternate reality version of the character fighting for existence with a current reality version then Caitlin’s dual personality makes sense.

I can see what you’re saying. However, Caitlin’s powers have nothing to do with Alchemy in this case. There could have been a throwaway line about how the cold affects her heart and brain or something and that would have been acceptable. And since this is the first time we’ve really heard Caitlin talk about her emotions, my guess is that the powers just brought all those repressed emotions to the forefront.
