‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’ Adding DC Comics’ Connor Hawke

The upcoming Arrow and The Flash spin-off series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, is currently in productions in Vancouver, Canada and we are continuing to get the addition of more DC characters.

Comicbook.com revealed today that the show will be adding the character of Connor Hawke to the show, who is a big player in the Green Arrow mythology. While no further details were given, Warner Bros. confirmed to them that he will not be the son of Oliver Queen and Sandra Hawke like he is in the comic books.

The confirmation of Connor comes after TV Line revealed last week that episode 6 of the show was casting an African American or biracial actor to play a character “who “decides to put on the uniform of a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope.” It will definitely be interesting to see how DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will be portraying Connor now that he isn’t Oliver’s son.

“When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to premiere sometime in early mid-season of 2016 on The CW.
