DC’s ‘Titans’ Reportedly Starting Filming This Fall In Atlanta

TitansOne of the biggest surprise announcements this year was that Warner Bros. TV is bringing the Teen Titans to the world of live-action in the form of Titans on the new untitled DC digital service. The project comes from Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter, with Johns, Berlanti and Goldsman writing the pilot script.

With the show set to debut sometime in 2018, production will have to start sometime this year and it looks the show will start filming this fall. According to My Entertainment World, Titans is reportedly going to start filming on September 25 in Atlanta, Georgia, which is also where The CW’s Black Lightning is filming.

It has yet to be revealed how many episodes the first season will have. While casting is underway, we know that the show will at least feature Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing, Starfire, Raven as well as Beast Boy, after a cryptic tweet by Johns.

“Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”

DC’s Titans is set to premiere sometime in 2018.
