Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds has released a new image from the film to mark the recently announced new release date for the X-Men film.
Earlier today, it was reported that Deadpool 2 has been rescheduled to arrive in theaters two weeks earlier on May 18, 2018, and now lead star Ryan Reynolds has marked the occasion by sharing a brand new image from the X-Men film. Posted on his official Twitter account, the image features a close-up look at the Merc with a Mouth’s signature weapons, who have given the names Bea and Arthur, after the Emmy Award-winning star of Golden Girls with whom the title mutant has an unusual obsession.

Directed by David Leitch, the film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapcic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Julian Dennison, Jack Kesy and Shioli Kutsuna join the cast in undisclosed roles.
