‘Deadpool’ Closing In On $500 Million Globally

There’s no stopping to Deadpool‘s success, as the movie has once again earned the #1 spot at the North American box office for a second weekend. The Tim Miller-directed movie brought in $55 million over the weekend for a domestic haul of $235.4 million, only 10 days after its release. That makes Deadpool the highest-grossing film in the X-Men franchise to date domestically. Deadpool also raked in $85 million overseas for a worldwide tally of $491.9 million. The movie should be able to cross the $500 million mark globally early next week. Quite an impressive achievement for an R-Rated superhero movie, eh?
