If you’ve never heard of #Caturday, then you probably won’t care too much about the new Deadpool promotional image. For those not in the loop, Caturday is basically just a hashtag used for weekend social media posts involving pictures of cats. With the release of Deadpool now less than a week away, Ryan Reynolds promoted his movie in full Caturday spirit—even if he was a bit of a Scrooge about it.
Some would think that the Deadpool marketing would be over by now, with the exception of the Super Bowl promo that has been previously announced. But somehow, they just don’t seem to run out of ideas, be they big or small. At this point, it’s hard not to wonder if we won’t be seeing a whole lot more from the Merc with a Mouth in the week leading up to Deadpool’s release on February 12.
