Watch The First Trailer For Disney’s Live-Action ‘Dumbo’ Remake

Disney DumboThe first official trailer for Disney’s live-action remake of the 1941 animated classic Dumbo is here.

This new version of Dumbo is being directed by Tim Burton, with a cast that includes Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Eva Green. Burton’s take is said to feature a narrative that places a greater emphasis on the human characters than the original. You can watch the trailer below.

Ehren Kruger penned the live-action Dumbo script and is also producing the project alongside Justin Springer. The film also stars Alan Arkin, Nico Parker, Finley Hobbins, Finley Hobbins, Joseph Gatt, Roshan Seth, Sharon Rooney and Douglas Reith.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

Holt was once a circus star but he went off to war and when he returned, it had terribly altered him. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of Dumbo, a newboyn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, entrepreneur V.A Vendevere (Michael Keaton) and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.

Disney’s Dumbo opens in theaters on March 29, 2019.
