‘Doctor Strange 2’ To Reportedly Begin Filming January 2020 In The UK

According to a new report, the highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange will start filming January 2020 in the UK.

Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce their upcoming slate, but it has been teased that it is coming sometime this summer. Black Widow has already started to film while The Eternals is expected to start next. Other films that are expected to be announced for Phase 4 include Black Panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Shang-Chi, and Doctor Strange 2.

Scott Derrickson is expected to return to direct Doctor Strange 2 with screenwriter C. Robert Cargill. Benedict Wong recently shared that he met C. Robert Cargill at the Avengers: Endgame premiere and teased that it could start filming next year. Now DiscussingFilm is reporting that Doctor Strange 2 will begin filming January 2020 in the UK.
